Grand Opening of our Care & Repair Bar!

Great News! EMND is opening a Care & Repair Bar on August 1, 2026!

So what is EMND? (Pronounced eh-mend, and an anagram for mend)

Well. It’s about mitigating textile waste from landfills.

The big dream is to build a vertically integrated apparel brand…an upcycle factory with a store front. Where we take clothing and materials headed to a landfill, turn it into new fabric, and then cut and sew it into new clothing; and then use the entire process as a work force development program.

But big dreams rarely take a straight path. And the care and repair bar is just a side road we’re exploring on the way.

Located inside MKE Outdoor Indoor Exchange (3040 S Delaware Ave, Milwaukee WI), we’re offering care and repair services right at the bar.

We’re focused on quick fixes while you shop, but we’ve got a network of skilled local repairers on deck ready to take on bigger projects as well. We’ll also be selling our own upcycled pieces as well as some mini upcycled collections that we've collaborated on with local artists.

We are literally located inside the bar, which also means bar seats. No we aren’t serving any alcohol or food in general, but please feel welcomed to stop by, hang out, and bring projects to work on.
